WORLD-CLASS SCHOOLS

Joy knows education is an investment, not an expense—and calls for a bold investment in our children’s futures. Instead of supporting our neighborhood schools and fixing the teacher shortage, Stitt pushes private school vouchers. Vouchers are a rural school killer, and would harm every public school student in the state.

To build a world-class education for Oklahoma’s 700,000 school kids, Joy is focusing on five priorities developed in collaboration with parents, teachers and representatives of local communities from across the state.

Joy’s education priorities are:

  • Solving the Teacher Shortage
  • Partnering With Parents
  • Supporting Students’ Mental Health and Wellness
  • Extending Care and Learning Opportunities
  • Preparing the Workforce of the Future
