“For many months now, we’ve met with Oklahomans in their hometowns across the state. We’ve gone from rural Oklahoma to the state’s biggest cities talking in coffee shops, living rooms, and backyards. And no matter where we go, we’ve heard common themes: Oklahomans want strong neighborhood schools, the freedom to make their own health care decisions, and opportunities for better jobs. The Hometown Tour Bus is about connecting with Oklahomans where they are and standing up together against the corruption and self-dealing that is holding our state back,” said Hofmeister.
Hofmeister’s campaign is powered by Oklahomans who know they deserve better than a governor who slings deals for a select few and neglects his responsibility to lead. Hundreds of volunteers have turned out across the state to knock nearly 100,000 doors talking with their neighbors about Hofmeister’s plans to strengthen schools and improve the economy for Oklahoma families.
“We are energized by the Republican, Democratic, and Independent grassroots supporters who are turning out all over Oklahoma. We’re eager to meet their momentum on the Hometown Tour Bus and cheer them on to the polls,” Hofmeister continued.
